Who Am I?
Hi! My name is Aung Kaung Khant. I'm a Senior
Web
Developer & Researcher currently working at Visible One. Some know
me by my aliases: TK or Taka.
I entered the programming world independently in 2017, creating small video games with Unity Engine, inspired by the anime Sword Art
Online.
My journey into programming was driven by a deep curiosity and passion for building virtual worlds.
In 2020, combining my programming knowledge with business experience from helping out at my familyโs store, I
won a competition and founded a startup called MyanDigital. Our mission was
to help small businesses in Myanmar recover from the impacts of COVID-19 by establishing an online presence.
Although we made significant progress, the unforeseen disaster of the Myanmar Coup
d'รฉtat forced us to halt operations. This led me to begin my career in Web
Development in 2021, joining a Singaporean startup as a React
Developer.
This pivotal shift reignited my love for programming and creation. Throughout my career, I've been known for
my
dedication, pursuit of excellence, good influence, mentoring abilities and
continuous self-improvement, making
a
significant impact on each project Iโm part of. My commitment and achievements have earned me rapid promotions and recognition, but I know there is still a long way to
become
a master and I'm excited about it!

Favorite Games
There are a lot of video games that I enjoy playing but some of them really stood out to me in the way they touch the soul. Here are some of the games that changed my life that I would recommend others.
Mother 2: Earthbound
This game really changed my view on life in general that it is totally fine to become an adult who can proudly embrace their inner child and that everything becomes bearable if you have your friends or kind people around you. Similar games inspired by this would be Undertale and Deltarune.
Celeste
The deeper meaning behind this amazing game about climbing a mountain hit me in a good way. The allegory about depression, anxiety and how you come to terms with your inner self to conquer your fears really helped me go through some tough times. The final level about overcoming grief was also really touching.
Firewatch
This game explores the relationship between two strangers who knew each other over the walkie-talkie in the wilderness as firewatchers. It shows how people who are isolated alone in the forest change over time and how the total strangers can become so close without ever meeting each other. The horror elements of exploring the mysteries of the woods was also an immersive experience with all the beautiful visuals.
Stardew Valley
Escape from the modern suffocating life to a small country-side town with fewer than 30 people who always help each other out without any malicious intentions? You can become a farmer, fisherman, a miner and a fighter? Connect with spirits of the forest? Yes, please.
To The Moon
The way this game built the story around digging through the memories of a dying old man to discover why he wishes to go to the moon was phenomenal, heart-wrenching and also beautiful. Quite a soulful game about love, grief and sweet moments in life that you never forget.
If My Heart Had Wings
You play as a new member of a circle of students who dream about soaring through the sky with small planes called "gliders" and view the "morning glory" cloud formation close up. This visual novel is beautiful in the way it presents about chasing after almost-impossible dreams with hope and passion. Please note that this is a dating-sim game with potentially explicit scenes.
